You probably know about the bad foods that are able to ruin health if consumed too much, but the internet is flooded with articles about foods that can make us sick when consumed together. Here are the two common food combinations said to be dangerous with no proof of any sort, let alone scientific research.

1. Cucumbers and tomatoes
Whaaat?! The favorite summer combo is no good for our bodies?
It is said that this combination can disturb biochemical patterns in our bodies and lead to tummy swelling in people with sensitive stomachs, but nothing serious would happen, as most of us have already proven.

3. Potatoes and meat
Another popular combination that is not good for us, according to the internet. Again, this all started because the combination is difficult to digest. The starch from potatoes require alkalotic fluids, and proteins from meat need acidic juices. Some people will get bloating and gas from this combo, but that’s the most serious „danger“ of having it for lunch.

When it comes to good nutrition, simplicity and natural food items are the keys to the good health, everyone knows this, but we can indulge in something we love from time to time, even if it’s not that great for our bodies.

    I really don’t like this combination of meat and potatoes, it makes me bloated and feeling full for a long time, for hours sometime, but the cucumber-tomato combination works great, especially with onions too. Heh.

    I think the best combination of food that tastes amazing is a mix of sauces. It sounds really basic and disgusting but it’s really is good. The mixture of Ketchup and Steak sauce. By the way, we have to think our body as well. Thank you so much and keep up the great work!

    With so much awareness about diet and nutrition, the foods chosen by us are usually healthy. Yet, we become victims of major or minor health problems and keep wondering about their cause. Sometimes it’s not the food item but its quantity, time and place of consumption, and combination with other food items that render the healthy food item incompatible for our bodies. Therefore, we must pay extra attention while choosing the food combinations and should not specially go for the combos mentioned in the article above.

    I do’t mind eating potatoes with meat, but prefer pasta or rice anyway. The science will always find something not-so-good for us, but it’s on us to try to live as healthy as possible and use the bad combos less frequent.
