  • Discard after exp. date on package

Byetta Pens

  • Keep refrigerated prior to first use (36-46F)
  • After first use can be kept at room temp, not to exceed 77F
  • Do not freeze
  • Discard pen 30 days after first use

Humalog Vials and Pens

  • Store unopened in refrigerator (36-46F)
  • Do not freeze
  • After opening – keep vials in refrigerator or room temp up to 28 days
  • Throw away opened vials or pens 28 days after first use
  • Unused humalog pens may be used until the expiration date printed on the label, if kept in the refrigerator.
