Heart Disease

Many people would agree that the occurrence of heart conditions can be related to the advancement of medicine and technology. In today’s modern world, heart disease is still inevitable. It affects both men and women in varying age group. If the heart is not in its good condition, the overall health of a person will be affected negatively. Hence, the needs to be taken care of the best way we could.

Because of the use of the latest innovations sedentary lifestyle has been very common among people. This kind of lifestyle is one of the many factors that can contribute to acquiring heart diseases. Other factors are a poor eating habit, vices and lack of exercise.

In order to help prevent the occurrence of heart illnesses, it is best to rely on using food supplements. There are various supplements readily available for consumers in the market such as those with EFA or essential fatty acids, garlic and antioxidants. All these can boost the immunity of a person to help combat heart conditions.

Aside from the natural supplements available, it is also important to increase the intake of fruits and vegetables, fibers, and fluids. On the other hand, foods with high sugar, fats, and preservatives need to be lessened. This way, heart illnesses can be minimized as well. Exercise and other physical activities must also be promoted.

    I recommend that heart disease prevention begins early in life. This means assessing your risk factors and working to keep them low. For those over 40, or those with multiple risk factors, it’s important to calculate the risk of developing cardiovascular disease in the next 10 years. Many first-ever heart attacks or strokes are fatal or disabling, so prevention is critical. The sooner you begin comprehensive risk reduction, the longer and stronger your heart will beat.

    There is a clear need for prevention of a disease developing in the first place and once it has developed, early diagnosis and treatment. Earlier diagnoses have the potential to produce better treatment outcomes, especially with regard to heart illnesses. I strongly believe that prevention is better than cure. To prevent heart disease exercise regularly, keep your blood pressure and cholesterol under control and most importantly don’t smoke.

    People live unhealthy lives, it’s a fact. Nobody likes to walk, everyone owns a car and drives even for 5 minute distances. It would be easy to prevent heart disease by just walking to work and back, without a car, and replacing the burger and fries with chicken and salad. Most of the lifestyles I see around me are scary dangerous.
