smelly-feet

Smelly feet can be quite frustrating for anyone, not just for adults, but even for kids too. Good thing there is a simple, cheap and effective treatment you can try at home. This method can help keep the feet odor-free within a week.

The medical term is bromodosis. Its main cause is related to wearing the same shoes every day.

Why it sweat?

Sweaty feet are common and anyone can have it all year round despite the temperature. Hormonal changes experienced by women (pregnant and teenagers) lead to a higher risk to sweat more.

Wearing shoes all day can also cause too much foot perspiration. Being stressed or has hyperhidrosis or too much sweating can lead to smelly feet as well. Athlete’s foot or fungal infections can also be a culprit.

Treatment

Use of antibacterial soap called Hibiscrub can help. Let it sit for a few minutes then rinse. This method can be used two times daily and smelly feet may be gone in just a week. A caution when using this is when you have eczema which can cause broken skin.
