Ongoing stress symptoms can affect your body, your mind, your feelings, as well as your behavior. Recognizing common stressors and stress symptoms can help to manage them more easily. Stress is a good thing when it comes to survival, but too much of it can kill you. Emotional stress that is left unsolved for weeks or months can affect the immune system. Cortisol is the primary stress hormone which increases glucose levels in the bloodstream. Also known as epinephrine, adrenaline is a naturally occurring hormone that’s used by the body during the stress response. Too much adrenaline can be harmful to your heart. Common adrenaline rushes can damage blood vessels and arteries, thus increasing blood pressure and also raising the risk of strokes and heart attacks.

    Correct, its not us who are saying that stress causes many health problems but even doctors and studies have found many health problems related to stress. Stress seems to worsen or increase the risk of conditions like obesity, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, depression, gastrointestinal problems, and asthma. While the number of health problems related to stress might be alarming, don’t despair, doctors say that stress management techniques are available and help to make you feel better.
