stroke

Among the deadly diseases that affect most people of today is a stroke. People who are high risk to develop this condition are those who are obese, diabetic and hypertensive. Not everyone could be aware that they already have the condition because it is mostly asymptomatic or no symptoms can be felt until suddenly, a person finds it hard to breathe with heart pain. The next thing you know, he experienced a stroke. Thus, it is best to always be mindful of our health. Some symptoms of stroke may include:

  1. A sudden headache (severe). This is among the most common pain complaints about people. This can be an early indication of heart disease.
  2. Sudden confusion. If this occurs, there may be something wrong happening to the brain. Remember that anything that concerns the brain is life threatening. This can be caused by insufficient oxygen supply or tumor.
  3. Having a hard time to stand. This is considered an early symptom of the condition and should not be disregarded.

Others include loss of balance or dizziness, hard to speak or understand and problems in sight.

The two types of stroke include:

Hemorrhagic and Ischemic are the two types of stroke. The first is caused by a ruptured vessel in the brain that leads to blood leaks. The latter is due to a blockage or clot in the artery towards the brain.

No matter which type of stroke it could be, both are serious and certainly deadly. Thus, it is essential to be mindful of the health to prevent this condition.

Now-a-days stroke is increasing so fast that is why people should know it’s the symptom. This could help people to take proper steps before happening anything bad. It is the no. 5 cause of death in the United States of America. Also, we should see a doctor, if there is any symptom available.

If these symptoms pass without a stroke, it can mean you had transient ischaemic attack (TIA) and you still need to go to hospital. Also, the face can drop to one side, a person may not be able to raise arms above the head, speech may be impaired… It’s important to be aware of the symptoms, thanks.

My cousin had the stroke attack 7 days back, presently he is bedridden.  From the last 2 weeks he was very weak and jut needed to sit down most of the time. He felt a different kind of blood flow to his head and also experienced vomiting. We thought he had a migraine but he had multiple strokes on left brain. The information given in the blog is very helpful as it is very important to know the symptoms of stroke.
