Ketosis is a metabolic process of the body in which the body burns fat while producing ketones. Ketones are used by the body to acquiring enough of carbohydrates especially when the food fails to provide the body with the required level of carbohydrates. Imbalance or inadequate diet is one because that puts the body in the ketosis mode. There are also certain other factors like pregnancy and exercising that may trigger the metabolic process.
Ketosis is a healthy process of burning fat, but abundant production of ketosis can be dangerous as it can lead to dehydration and alter the chemical balance of the blood.

The human body is designed to automatically turn on the ketosis state; one can always switch to ketosis mode by consuming a low carb diet. The ketosis has been found really helpful in reversing the type 2 diabetes and boosting quality life. Moreover, it has also been found helpful in controlling epilepsy without drugs for a longer duration.

    Ketosis is a metabolic process that occurs when the body begins to burn fat for energy because it does not have enough carbohydrates to burn. During this process, the liver produces chemicals called ketones. The keto diet aims to induce ketosis in order to burn more fat and it is found that people following a well-formulated ketogenic diet typically eat less than 50 grams of carbohydrates per day and around 1.5 g of protein per kilogram of body weight.
